Twenty first century friendships

Twenty first century friendships are full of traditions, I say...
All the same, the conditions of mutual trust are indistinguishable to those back in the day.
Times are changing, I hear. Looks like we’ve lost our way.

“Where are the days of old? Hard to tell friend or foe”.
As different as it appears, friendships are still as valuable as gold.

A common bond is forged thru a series of wise efforts... whilst our language has changed much, not our desire to exchange information.

Conversations are constructed in so many different ways.
A perceptive ear still listens yet evolved to reading texts,
not in manuscript or books, as our fellow man would think, but in little apparatuses that one carries among things.

Instead of meeting for noon tea to discuss our weary days, we might gather with Prince Pietro at the Story of Seasons fairy tales.
A virtual town they doth bid It, parallel lives, who knows where.

Perhaps if thou are gut-foundered, we consider Uber eats. Sounds like bacon upon butter; nevertheless, modern era permits.

A new style of hieroglyph is commonly shared among friends; such colorful things called emojis...jollifications of language that I highly recommend.
I gather I have pushed you into anotherkins of information.
Aroint are the days of smoke signals or of the pigeons of Reuters, even better than morse code, telegraph or telephone,
one can experience friendships in ways I would have never known
if it wasn’t for the moment I have chosen to be born.

As I transmit this message to my kind kinfolk of old, I say friendships are still strong although in the way of a conundrum;
by dint of an undercroft as one would surely suppose
for the factor of the apple, the blackberry, and the raspberry pi, being the perfect ingredients for a majestic fruit Pie. Nay! ‘Tis technology keeping friendships alive.

There is no rest for the wicked...
and in the darkness we dwell...
and after midnight not every friendship request is accepted...
the best thing about technology is grammarly... thanks.

True! I find curiosity in history, as we read about it now and wonder how will the future read our history. Especially our relationship with our gadgets.
The point was to highlight the absurdity in the depth of this relationship with a lifeless item.

Each person now has a different understanding of friendship. Even in a romantic relationship between people, friendship is different. There are those who love and want to be loved and there are those who just start a short-term relationship. For example, my friends found dating site for swingers on the Internet. Here they meet for dates with other couples. They like meetings like this.

Jeje... I'm laughing, cause I saw some time ago a bumper sticker that read, " swinger grandma"
sorry, I'm still cracking up...

Hola linda flor de verano... me intriga

Do you believe in love at first sight? This summer I traveled to Los Angeles and my mother suggested I could pop over here before visiting the country so that I at least know someone who would like to meet me. And when I did, I found a guy who I am now dating! Of course, I know that long-distance relationships are not an easy thing, but if you truly love someone, it may work.
Goddamn... I cannot help but put my two cents... I'm so nosy. Please forgive me.
And yes... there is such thing as love at first sight... even when you don't have your glasses on.
