Mother & Father

mother
so docile and weak on her children

father
still thinking you are our god

I have lived my life in the extremes

I love them, and I hate them
I thank them, and I know they are guilty of the worst parts of myself
I would sacrifice myself, and would kill them with my hands

mother
so loving and caring

father
so hardworking and familiar

I wish to go
so I can finally love you both
in peace

to feel that love in my bones
not just the guilt of not being a good daughter
when you knew how to love me
but never how to protect my soul

Deep, intimate and dark. Parents can't read much into the minds of their children, but as a child you'd give just about anything if they even had a pretty long shot at achieving that. It happened to me (as a kid) and it happens to most people.

Good reading, crystalline and straightforward.
