Does oblivion exist?​


I have owned oblivion,
I have enjoyed oblivion.

It has been mine
the flower always perennial
because of its amnesia
it forgot to wither,

It was mine that river
that could not return
to its riverbed
because it forgot
that it walked with feet of water.

It has been mine that sky,
by losing its memory
it kept only the musty color of remoteness
of our dear desires.


They have been mine...
………………………………………………… ..
………………………………………………… ..

I love forgetfulness
that brings peace to the senses,
as if by forgetting
there were no ingratitude,
indifference, dishonesty, wars...

But does forgetfulness exist
if when I want to forget you
I forget it so many times?

I’m in the portal again, and unconsciously feeling good about it, heading where my thoughts lead me, here, always here. So, yes, oblivion does exist. That perfume that special someone wears, the smell of your hometown you really can’t describe. You don’t know why; you just know that you’re not far away.

So, my dear poeta and friend, I am here, yes, consciously aware that I was here, congratulating you for your beautiful poema.
