dark-maiden
Poeta fiel al portal
I was wandering through the walls of madness.
I was seeking my soul among chandeliers.
I was summoning spirits of underground.
Suddenly, a voice began to call my name
and I started to wander through the gardens of lost.
I said: there is no apple here, there is no snake,
there are no gods, there are no sins.
The voice became flesh, and it threw a book
over my head of dark lessons.
It told me: keep your wisdom, that will be your legacy.
For a moment, I did not know where I was,
so far from my domain, so devoid of chaos.
Had my goddesses succumbed to the light?
In this moment I saw him, I heard his words but
I did not understand, I only heard a fanfare
of demons that played instruments, while
a horde of angels distributed rich delicacies and
serve all kinds of licenses to attendees.
I get astonished, when I saw who was in that evening,
all the spirits which I once invoked, were gathered at a table.
They smiled and toasted me together, my fall to the earth
and my ascent to the altars.
My heart was still empty, I still did not know the rejoicing
only the sorrow of the mountains that are condemned
to see born and die empires in the mud.
In this chapter of loss I felt two
brown eyes locked on mine.
There he was, without knowing my name, without knowing
that for me, life is a daily transit
between the forbidden and the sacred.
He approached, and a torrent of thoughts,
collapsed my sickness mind.
I felt a great urge to shout my surnames
but I could not because I had forgotten them.
I wanted to drive it to my home, but I could not
because I did not have it anymore.
Conversely, I chose to speak in old
pagan languages.
He got absorbed in my unconnected story,
in the songs that came from my lips
without understanding their meaning.
Finally, I asked him to tell a story
that will take me to lands of despair, of
loves condemned to sword, and he began his relate,
but I did not comprenhend his language.
I only remember when he circled my waist
with his arms and he whispered to me: Te iubesc.
And my kingdom was his per secula seculorum.
