I met a girl
Her eyes were like a sunset on the beach, her voice was like a rainy day while drinking coffee
Her touch was like a lightning storm, her humor was like a little kid watching cartoons, sitting on the floor, laughing like it couldn’t kill you
Her soul was like lava coming out of a volcano and at the same time like soft wind blowing your face at some empty park
She was calm, and noisy, and intense, and mesmerizing
She was for me the word comfort, my best friend, my special place
She was my home
I met a girl who left, and we’ll never be the same anymore
But she’s the little treasure my heart will always possess
I met a girl who’s not my friend anymore
But she lies somewhere with a piece of my soul I don’t want back
Because it belongs to her now
