Mi Tierra
He vuelto a caminar sobre mi tierra mojada

My land
I have walked again on my wet earth
Just like yesterday when I was a teenager
Maybe looking for the tracks of my beautiful land
Fascinated by so much beauty not remembered
In a crazy adventure between its sea and its sky
Paths of my earth that drag me looking for
My dreams lost in the twists of her beauty
Life and love walker flavored with saltpeter
Paths of my earth guided by the light of so many years
Between promises of day and night lulled by its fecund air
With their guava trees dancing to love
Affectionate hands touched them until they were lost in their lips
Paths of my land that have waited for my walk
I have returned to you scratching your bowels of the beloved hand
Their networks plowing the Pacific in search of their fruit
Navigate your crystal clear waters looking for your brave people
Roads of my land, my land with the smell of saltpeter
With my bare feet I have again walked on my humble land
While the sun toasts your hectic beaches marking my face
And the flirtatious moon winks at her eye wandering in the night.
