Sometimes I Feel…

Sometimes I feel

Like returning to the Hood

Just to hangout for a while

Maybe having a beer or two

But i don't!


And Sometimes

in the

Middle of the night

I feel like

Calling María

Who still on the pipe

Just a booty call

Just to feel fine

But i don't!


And Sometimes…

After multiple failed attempts

At landing a job

I feel like there is nothing left

But to rob

somebody ¡

Anybody!, anywhere!

But i don't!


Must be said that

After those many “Sometimes”

The sacred words of

“One Day At Time”

sustains the soul

and clears the mind

of a man dedicated

to remain clean and sober

for the rest… OF HIS TIME!
