intrusion

Guerrion

Poeta que considera el portal su segunda casa
I take the selfish liberty
of imposing upon you yet again,
with an offering of my simple poetry.

Pardon my intrusion,
but sometimes, however,
even an infinite amount of words
aren't sufficient for the crafting of a poem.

I must confess
that my love for words
had bought me a lifetime of headache,
despair, like a poet with a lovely disability...you and one or two more.

I hope you get
a small measure of joy
from my thoughts or knowing
that I'm not a bilingual Pablo Neruda,
but Fidel Guerra Cuevas.

Oregon, Feb, 2020.

Estimada Ana,
gracias por el gusto,
yes, in poetry this is like sugar boost
or as beneficial as a hug.

I know we are out there
and then out here, and I just wanted to thank you
por el gusto sobre del gusto que es un gusto que me gusta.

Saludos,
fidel guerra.

no need to apologize, for been romantic and speak from your heart.

Hi Gus,
thanks for speaking of the loneliness of this long-distance poeta. As you already know, I don't have the luxury of being able to write beautiful poetry as other people, including yourself, do...that's why your visit is like a poetic consultation....so, dear brother, in this same charitable spirit fronteriso, you must know that, while typing this long letter for you, I am listening to a song we both know...Mexico lindo y...bueno, God Bless toda America and perhaps, my broken corazon de acero.

Fidel.

Guadalupe,
I am fortunate to have you around my poetry from el otro lado, a common commodity among fronterizos, like ourselves.
Of course, like everything else, is refined every time we cross into the other side of our words.

I have English limitations, but I manage to recognize that, hopefully someday I may improve on my skills.

I am Fidel Guerra Cuevas
and I approve this answer.

Hugs and kisses en ingles.

Just me.

Nomas me se el titulo but I go to México from time to time...
and to be honest I don't think of me as a great poet...
more like an aprentice for life... My main language is english cause where I stay now,
but half of the stuff writing as poetry... the truth? I don't understand.
but I like to interact with others in this forum, regardless if they are good or bad poets...

Gus,
I’m lucky to know more than just el titulo de tan linda canción. In fact, when I ride the elevators, by myself, I sing loud and when I come out, ( the elevators, dude ) some of my coworkers hand me over coffee coins or even money. I don’t have a great voice but enjoying yourself at work is a precious thing.

Bueno dear compa,
no solo yo pienso que vos sos un gran poeta, es la unión de poetas mundiales que se unen a tus poemas y bueno...your response is the humble thing we all expect from a great one.

Like you, I also enjoy all poets, because we all are a magical mystery.

Saludos,
FG.

Your style is very very special.
I could recognize your poems among others without seeing your name.
That is your trade mark, the idea of "made in Fidel",
And a poet with his own style is... great.
I do like reading you in this side of our house.

Hugs, dear friend.

Dear Cecy,
I never knew how to be a poet in my most beautiful notebook in Reynosa, and I think I will never learn how to be one in this beautiful/virtual page in Springfield. I love that you could recognize my nameless poetry ….trust me, young lady, for many, many years I’ll carry this thought of yours with me. In regards to my own trademark, well, I turn lots of thoughts upside down, the lids from beers, pages from old poems, and sometimes new ones come up from these…

Once every four years
we celebrate a special day like today,
so I am sending you un
BESO that, God’s will,
you wont see again but in 2024.

thank you so much,
Fidel Guerra.
