while standing right next to me

I finally woke up from a pleasurable dream,
took a shower and grab my bundle.. of poems… in preparation
for getting back on the road to find out what may be out there for me.

The only thing better than reading a poem
is listening to her voice, is writing a poem to her standing right next to me.

I will continue on my trek, always watching the river
without thinking or saying anything and hoping
to see the wildlife to come out to say, hello..!

Do you remember her?
The blonde girl I met few years back when I checked in at work
well, she decided to move on and find a better gig.

So now what?
She says she bakes great scones,
I love great tasting scones and
coffee next to her beautiful
and country personality.

Poet is the name given to a person who is filled with verses and are mostly found in Reynosa, Rio Bravo, Tamaulipas, México.,oh, and sporadically by the Monterey’s area. ​

me encanta la sensación
de estar escribiéndole un poema,
justo a tiempo o al momento y que la susodicha
esté completamente ajena.

Me gusta sentirme
como si estuviera a la deriva, en lo intemporal y sin saber
qué chingaos estaba haciendo antes del poema o a dónde tenía que ir.

tenemos corazones errantes
mas no nos olvidamos, ni entonces,
ni hoy ni mañana ni pinchis nunca del lugar
donde nacimos y nos susurraron, por primera vez,
de un amor para toda una vida.

I’m from Reynosa, pero ha cambiado tanto
that I feel like I don’t belong there anymore,
except in my little neighborhood.

No... actually, I'm from Rio Bravo...I spent fifteen years there
and then I moved to Michigan... and then I had been, back and forth
between Michigan and Mexico... but now, because Aguas is much safer
to race my two kids... and planning my early retirement... We just build a house
and moved there this pandemic year

Good idea and planning Gus. I am happy for you and your family...
and well, this thing of going back and forth is a great feeling. I've not decided yet if it's going to be Mexico or Colombia the place to go after I retire...

Bueno, y a como van las cosas por USA, es decir, si se sigue con el pensar este de Trump por una o dos decacadas mas, pues va estar cabron...entonces, ojala que gane Biden o que le quitemos el senado para cambiarle un poquito el rumbo al desmadre,,,pero si gana, pues...suertudo tu que andas por Aguascallientes.
