A MATTER OF PERCEPTION


I see the world

through the thickness

of the fishbowl;

you see my world

through the same thickness

on the other side

and then life goes on

and we go on as usual

or perhaps not.

veo el mundo

a través del espesor

de la pecera;

ves mi mundo

a través del mismo espesor

por otro lado

y luego la vida sigue

y seguimos como siempre

o quizás no.

 

Inteligente y sugerente.

lupita, lupita: i guess everything's a matter of perception. even a person right in front of us is nothing more than a mental construct, along their perceived behavior toward us.

hatred, love, stars, madness, even the culantro leaves i'm picking up now -a fuckin good sopa awaits to be prepared tmrw- are simple byproducts of that mental perception.

though culantro's deliciousness involves no perhaps.
