beerless poetry

It appears to me that my poetry
will become more widely popular
more acceptable to you if my current
love for beers do not interfere with it.​

But given the simplicity
of my already simple poetry,
it remains to be seen if the choice
for my anti-beer poetry will be the accurate one.​

The outside smells like sage,
sweet bay, pines and other flowery scents /
molecules of ocean breeze or rain that hasn’t fallen
because the clouds have not been able to pee just yet.​

In this poem of heavy confusion
my heart smells, hears the wild call
of the hiss of an opening beer can..but what's
impossible sometimes just has to be done.

thanks for your awesome remarks.

My poetic thoughts are grounded in one,
maybe two or perhaps, but not as often, three beers per poem
but the good thing is that I don’t write daily.

A most interesting fact regarding my refreshing
habits, though, is that it is a mellow stream, like an irrigation system
for my poetic fields that originates out of nowhere and music makes it better, greener.!

yes, that I can do...stay away from a beer...but it’s hard because it sings to my wandering heart...I know I’m not good with words, but I think it makes them somehow charming...so, It’s not a promise but I’ll try to avoid it, at least for several poems and see what happens…

Hi Guadalupe,
beer is the talk or poetic topic of our world now a days,
but I truly believe that, if you drink it or use it in the proper poetic setting,
can be or should be a great adjunct to light on our poetry.

Now, tequila and poetry, for me, that’s out of the picture,
I tried once and let me tell you, I almost saw the presence of my poetic thoughts.
It is a special feeling, yes, but poetry, music and tequila create...muchos gritos, mocos and many bad words.

yes, straight forward poetry or as people say;
you put your pedal to the metal, but in this case or as I say;
