it's you

Guerrion

Poeta que considera el portal su segunda casa
Someone’s
knocking at the door
and jiggling the handle,
I look through the peephole
to a really pretty view,
turns out, It’s you.

Sabes que te miro
that our brown eyes meet
que intercambiamos en asentir
that both make ourselves feel alive.

Tonight the sun is shooting sparks off
wishing for a cool kisser like you
and in the morning, the moon
stays to see the beautiful
side of life,
o a ti.

I'm having some cheves or again like before

Niko,
what’s going on, my friend...
te escribo porque quería darte las gracias por el gusto
that I needed to see you reading this with a happy thought on your face
de que yo soy un gran coleccionista de gustos.

Saludos,

Fidel Guerra.

I remember reading someone that used both languages before and then I looked back to see that it was one of your poems! Will definitely be looking forward to reading you again. Here's to more moons staying to see the beautiful side of life!

Sarita,
after reading your comment
I paused a moment or a lot longer and
that’s because I thought no one had, ever, seemed
interested in what was going on in my mind or my
heart through my bilingual writings, but today!
To me, bringing these two languages together
is a great way to connect with who I'm today,
yet, for some this type of writing, Spanglish
makes them feel uncomfortable.

Bella amiga,
most heartily, I appreciate your time,
el hermoso mensaje y que te hayan gustado
this and the other poem from while back
and hopefuly, my dreadful responses.

Yours,
Fidel Guerra.

Hi Gus,
doing fine my friend,
enjoying some cold ones
and tunes from los Invasores…

It’s cold around here,
still, I love to place my beer in the
freezer cause I love my beer to be frosty
or with ice in it..

but it’s been fun
to write and share my poetry so far,
but, no worries, still here and if not, my memories will…

Gus, good morning,
I was getting ready to log out...you know, somebody has to work or continue, with a sense of servitude as we do our best to navigate this crazy pandemia....and las musas..

take care dude....trucks have just arrived...
