Kaylee

Guerrion

Poeta que considera el portal su segunda casa
On my right sits Kaylee
a quite likable girl
with two eyes…

my God,.
I thought you could only find
a woman like her on mars,
but I was so wrong.

She is a traveling, beaming girl
sent to my heart to help him
feel things it thought were history.

Cafeteria for lunch again,
she loves BLT and an orange drink,
the place is jammed,
outside the window, a blinding light,

darkness, wind and then, rain, sudden heavy rain.

She wears a beautiful smile and

a joy of voice brought to me by
my friend, God.

It’s time to go for the day
close my laptop, and into the dream world again,
one more time…

Cecy,
I also believe "beaming" is a beautiful word and it is because it is not used as frequently. I love its sound and presence. In addition, it is a humble word to see.

Yet, thank you again for another beautiful comment. I know this is not our conventional place to chat but it is also a beautiful way to expand our words, our mind in the confines of this poetic book of all of us.

Once again, I wish to keep on writing but I am at work, finishing my lunch break...so I finish by telling you thanks so much for being my friend, and an indispensable one.

Hugs, muchos..

Fidel Guerra.

Guadalupe,
thanks for your nice complement.
I think Kaylee liked my poem. She has a beautiful laugh, ( well, all of her is beautiful ) but when I read the poem to her it turned her face serious, even her smile runaway from it. She was surprised because no one had ever wrote her a poem.

We are good friends and sometimes, while at work, we dance some norteñas...le gustan las vueltas, la banda machos, invasores...y a mi sus azules eyes...foremost her friendship.

Desde Oregon,

kindly,

fidel guerra.

"feel things it thought were history"

Sometimes, we give up on feeling anything again, whether it is the love of nature, romance, or friendship. I think someday we will live in a new world in which happiness is the norm, but now we often try to defend ourselves from the troubling ups and downs of our emotions by becoming numb. We wear scars from emotional wounds, but perhaps those scars will one day disappear.

Hi poet AlanS,
thank you for your presence and wonderful comment. Yes, this is truly an outstanding one because it goes deeper than a superficial one. I’m working right now, otherwise I would have written you a longer response.

Thanks again Alan, I appreciate your time.

Fidel Guerra.
