I don’t argue
about not having wings,
even though I have a love
for the heavens.
I also don’t complain
about not being able to run
as fast as Bolt or not being
a good singer or poet, despite
my love for singing, writing
and running in my dreams.
Some nights feel endless,
while others pass quickly,
but I’ve no complaints about
not having enough time for this.
I managed to get myself through, I suppose.
However, I can not retrace the steps I took.
