Stout memories

Honey, these are
the sweet hopes of the stout, and it is
from it, I learned the taste of this life.

I ponder about you
and the enduring flow of poetry
inside me…the ideas whisper and
have been whispering your name
throughout for a long time.

I cannot deny
that you resemble a chip
in my imagination, that you are
delightful to the poetic mind, just
as lovely songs are to a romantic person.
