I frequently
like to relax in peaceful
areas and think about things.

I love going outside
and chasing the sun, but
I also appreciate cloudy days.

My fresh encounters
with nature bring you to mind,
and that makes my day so much lovely.

I inhale whatever smell you may have.
If it's sweet, I breathe deeply, and if it's sweaty,
that's going to do it for me. I enjoy getting warm, and toasty.

Mother Nature offers us the possibility of meeting our spiritual being, the true essence, what we are. Sun and our own silence between trees and birds, rivers and sky is pure magic.

Let’s face it, Cecy,
I am not the greatest hiker, but I enjoy the sights and sounds, and the attention I get from squirrels, eagles, and other creatures. My nature trips happen mostly on the weekends, early in the morning and after my coffee and bread, which I eat and drink while waiting in the parking lot. My backpack carries two bottles of water, nuts, a camera, binoculars, and a speaker to listen to music while taking a break somewhere where I can think things over, just as the poem states.

It's also true or as you said that we feel spiritual when we are in the forest, and we may feel a little jealous when we see eagles staring at us while singing or chirping in the breeze. I like to lie on this big branch and interact with the environment, occasionally even writing strange poetry like this one where you left your awesome first mark.
