Twilight Magic

Whistle, wind, whistle,
show me your beauty fair.
Through the blooming lupines,
breathe in the moist summer air.​

Twinkling fire flies
light up the twilight sky.
Secret lovers wonder,
hear them running by.​

Glowing exotic flowers
throw pollen everywhere.
Sparking golden dust
brings magic to the air.​

Night is fast approaching,
to sleep my giant trees.
Fall to the lullaby

Ricardo! I was so happy to see your comment. Truth be told, I posted this poem with you in mind. Your poems always have such wonderful flow and beauty, they put me to shame for I usually leave the rhyming to one side. But when one writes about nature how can one but write with a flow and elegance that the subject demands and desires. I am so delighted you found it pleasing.
