    in poetry as time passes by...
    in a stupid and sweet way
    I think that we are set
    to experience a few
    lovable moments
    in life, and this
    one was truly
    one of them

    I was present, relishing
    every word and smile she exchanged,
    acknowledging how effortlessly things fell into place
    for an enjoyable conversation, and an evening of falling leaves
    while on a hike to gaze at the twinkling city lights before Christmas.
